DESCRIPTION:Cape Rep Theatre will be holding open auditions for The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard\, directed by Holly Erin McCarthy. \n\n\n\nAbout the auditions: \n\nWe are seeking actors\, singers and dancers of all races\, ages\, ethnicities and gender identities. All roles are available. To stay up to date visit www.caperep.org/auditions/\n\n\n\nSubmission instructions:\n\nPlease email an appointment request along with your headshot and resume to auditions@caperep.org. We are looking for actors with a wonderful sense of comedy and physicality for our upcoming production of Tom Stoppard's The Real Inspector Hound\, directed by Holly Erin McCarthy. Please prepare a short comic monologue of a minute or so. All listed roles are available.\n\n\n\nAuditions are by appointment but walk-ins will be seen on a first come\, first served basis in between scheduled appointments. In The Real Inspector Hound\, Tony and Academy award-winning playwright Tom Stoppard has crafted a witty and gripping tale in which identity is as variable as a mustache.\n\n\n\nAvailable Roles and Character Breakdown:\n\nMOON   Second string theater critic of a major newspaper in London. Ambitious but insecure.\n\nBIRDBOOT   First string theater critic with the "other" major London paper. Has a bit of an ego. Married but a womanizer.\n\nMRS. DRUDGE   The dutiful maid who sees and hears everything that goes on in Muldoon Manor.\n\nSIMON GASCOYNE   Young\, dashing\, self-absorbed\, flirty.\n\nFELICITY CUNNINGHAM   Young\, very attractive\, enjoys tennis\, Cynthia's friend.\n\nCYNTHIA MULDOON   The Lady of the Manor and wife of the missing Albert Muldoon. She is wealthy\, upper class\, beautiful.\n\nMAJOR MAGNUS MULDOON   The half-brother of Albert Muldoon. Or is he?\n\nINSPECTOR HOUND   A Holmes-like detective.
